RGS Riyadh Head Girl Embarks on a Transformative Visit to RGS UK
RGS Riyadh Head Girl, Kenzy Mohammed, recently embarked on a transformative visit to RGS UK as part of the RGS Global Village program. During her visit, Kenzy was able to experience first-hand the unique educational opportunities available at RGS UK and gain insight into how education is delivered in a different setting. She was also able to meet with other international students and discuss their experiences. Through her participation in this program, Kenzy is helping create connections bet
ween students from different backgrounds and cultures, while broadening her own knowledge and understanding of international education systems.
When Kenzy was questioned about her trip, she couldn’t contain her enthusiasm. She chimed excitedly, “It is an honour to be chosen for the Henry Smith scholarship at RGS Riyadh. I was blessed with the opportunity to meet amazing and inspiring students; we had an instant connection which made me feel at home. I was exposed to new teaching methods and incredible teachers. Most importantly, I had so much fun!”
The RGS Global Village fosters relationships across the Reigatian network. Students across all Reigate schools receive opportunities to study and spend time at the parent school in UK.
It was a moment of joy for Kenzy when she met Neyha, the Head Girl at RGS UK. It was an eye-opening experience for Kenzy and Neyha as they engaged in a meaningful dialogue, discussing topics ranging from education to technology. They exchanged ideas and perspectives, creating a platform of understanding that enabled them to learn from each other's experiences. With the aim of broadening each other's outlooks, their conversation inspired them both to think outside the box.
Kenzy also had the chance to explore cultural sites and learn more about British culture. Her experience was an inspiring one that has helped her understand how different cultures can come together through education and create a better world for everyone.
