Secondary School
The Secondary School runs from Year 7 – Year 11 through Key Stage 3 (Year 7 – 9) and Key Stage 4 (Year 10 and 11). When students move into the Secondary School they are taught by individual subject teachers and classes are more focused on formal subject based learning.
In Key Stage 3 students continue to benefit from a broad and balanced curriculum designed to keep their options open for as long as possible. The combination of breadth and depth of study is at the heart of the school’s philosophy, ensuring that students benefit from a wide range of academic opportunities before making key decisions when selecting their IGCSE options for Key Stage 4. IGCSE exams are taken at the end of Year 11 in different subjects.
