The Reigate Grammar School hosted its first Cambridge Annual Leaders Meeting in Riyadh. The event took place on the 28th of September 2022 in the RGS school auditorium.
Principals and leaders from over 40 different schools were present at the meeting. The meeting was endorsed by Cambridge University Press, Collins, Hodder, and Marshall Cavendish. The school was represented by the principal, Ann Philip, the Cambridge examination officer, Bindu Joseph, and the Combined Services Coordinator, Asma Safadi.
Mr. Raed Omar Brahedni, the Cambridge representative and the Senior manager for the Middle East and North Africa gave the keynote speech and informed the affiliated schools about the latest updates and information pertaining to Cambridge Early Years, well-being checks, professional development for teachers, and the important changes and requirements for the external examinations. He thanked the principal and RGS for hosting the event and the excellent arrangements made.
The speech was followed by a grand lunch. This event provided an opportunity for social and professional networking among international school leaders.
Reigate Grammar School looks forward to hosting similar events in the future and to promote community engagement in Riyadh.
