Admissions & Application Process
We are now accepting applications for academic Year 2026/2027 beginning in August 2026 and also our current academic 2025/2026 with availability across year groups.
To apply:
- Complete the attached Enrolment Application Form
- Submit the form along with required supporting documents (as outlined on Page 1 of the application) to:

- Upon successful completion of the assessment and review of academic records, an offer of admission may be extended
Enrolment Fees
Upon acceptance, the following fees are required to secure your child’s place:
- SAR 1,000 – Non-refundable Administration Fee (per child)
- SAR 5,000 – Non-refundable Deposit (per child, deductible from tuition fees)

Once our admissions team has reviewed your child’s application, we will contact you to schedule a placement assessment. If your child is currently outside the Kingdom, please ensure their current school’s contact details are included in the enrolment forms; we will then coordinate directly with them to arrange the assessment.

| Year 7 (Grade 6) – Year 13 (Grade 12) | Subject-specific assessments administered by the Secondary Team; prior school reports and exam results are required at time of application. |
Upon completion of the assessment, our Prep and Senior leadership teams will evaluate the results to determine acceptance and specific placement recommendations. We will communicate the final decision to you at our earliest opportunity.
Q: What support is available for students who need help with English?
A: English as an Additional Language (EAL) is offered for students with limited English proficiency. Lessons are delivered in small groups (maximum of 4 students) during English periods. Students are reintegrated into mainstream classes as soon as they are ready.
Q: What support is available for students requiring additional learning assistance?
A: Learning Support / Enhanced Provisions are available for students needing extra help. An intake interview is required prior to enrolment to ensure appropriate provisions are in place.

Q: Does the school provide transportation?
A: The school does not provide transportation. However, many residential compounds offer transport services to local schools. We recommend contacting your compound’s management for details.
Q: What are the equivalency and attestation requirements for school reports?
A: Prior to relocating to Saudi Arabia, your child’s school reports must be attested by the Saudi Arabia Embassy/Ministry of Foreign Affairs, or an apostille from your current country of residence can be accepted. Upon arrival in Saudi Arabia and issuance of your child’s Iqama, equivalency of certificates must be completed through our Government Relations Officer, Ms. Malak, with the Ministry of Education (no testing involved). Details are provided in the Enrolment Application Form.

Q: What nationalities are the teachers and students?
A: We have a multinational teaching staff across both campuses.
Q: How many students are there per class and in the whole senior school?
A: There is a maximum of 24 students per class.
Q: Are boys and girls mixed in class?
A: RGS Riyadh is co-educational until Year 8. From Year 8 onwards, male and female students are in separate homeroom classes but are mixed in communal areas.
Q: Do you have a swimming pool on site?
A: A swimming pool is available at our Qurtuba Prep campus.
Q: Do you offer transportation from home to school?
A: We do not offer home-to-school transportation. However, we provide a sibling bus service between Qurtubah and Ghirnatah campuses in the morning and afternoon.
Q: Is there an indoor eating area for students?
A: Yes, we provide both indoor and outdoor canteen facilities at the Ghirnatah and Qurtuba campuses.
Q: Does RGSR offer any scholarships?
A: RGSR offers sibling discounts for families with multiple children enrolled:
- 2nd Child: 5% discount
- 3rd Child: 10% discount
- 4th Child and beyond: 15% discount
